In addition to pure aesthetics and unique designs, IsoTac Arms slide modifications provide practical performance enhancements through advanced optics mounting and slide mass reductions which provide quicker target acquisition and reacquisition, less felt recoil, and reduced shot recovery time.
Reflex cuts (optic cuts) are required to add an optic for users that desire more consistent sight acquisition and quicker follow on shots, than that provided by iron sights. Although optic-ready pistols are becoming more common, many pistols produced prior to 2018, do not come “optics-ready.” IsoTac bridges this gap with our precision machining process that allows the user to mount the optic of their choice.
These are various cuts milled into the pistol slide to increase the speed of the action cycle. Although these are often applied to competition guns, where shooters are judged on their accuracy and time, they are also relevant to target shooting and non-competitive shooting. Most modern pistols come standard with rear sight serrations, which help you grip the slide to manually pull it rearward. However, some shooters prefer serrations near the front sights as well. Our designs enhance the functionality, performance and appearance of the factory slide.
